// Game Secrets

Below is a rundown of the various “secrets” and “bonuses” from Claire’s games.

Resident Evil 2

In order to obtain extra costumes in Resident Evil 2, you must start a new game with either character’s ‘A’ Scenario. You must run to the police station without picking up any items. None at all. When you get to the police station, take the underground alley, and you will see Mr. Brad Vickers as a zombie. You must kill him and then obtain the Special Key from his corpse. Now you can unlock the locker in the Dark Room. Claire has another motorcyclist outfit along with a Colt Python gun.

There is, of course, a mini-game in Resident Evil 2, titled Extreme Battle. Claire is an automatic choice when you first unlock the game. You start in front of the video monitors in the underground labs, and you must travel to the police station, collecting four bombs on the way. The enemies differ depending on what Difficulty Level you use.

CODE: Veronica X

CODE: Veronica does not have bonus costumes for the main game, but there is a mini-game, which includes an alternate version of Claire. To obtain the mini-game you must defeat the main game once. Claire is automatically there for you to play, and if you finish her game you receive the Alternate Claire. Both are easy to achieve ‘A’ scores with if you manage your time fast enough. There's truly no objective to the mini-game; all you have to do is kill all the enemies in the rooms and try to get the lowest time possible. Quite addictive.

The battle game includes some of the most interesting and humorous Easter Eggs from the series. In the Casino Lounge, you can examine the King Maker slot machine and given a prize. Playing as either Claire versions will most likely get you the First Aid Spray or D.I.J.’s Diary. As the Alternate Claire you have a small chance of receiving Gas Rounds for the BOW Gun; as the regular version of Claire, the rarest item to receive is a pair of Sub. Machine Guns.

As either versions of Claire, you have the chance to see a small Easter Egg in the Frozen Corridor (the fifteenth room). If you kill all the zombies and then stand at entrance of the corridor for a few seconds, Claire will begin to shiver and then start rubbing her upper-arms in attempt to warm herself. It’s funnier if you’re playing as Alternate Claire.
