Why Claire? Why a shrine?

Aside from the obvious fact I feel great sentimental value towards Claire, she's a fantastic video game character. Admittedly, there are a number of characters I favor over Claire, but she is still my favorite protagonist. As for this gigantic dedication, it's simply because I've collected an insane amount of Resident Evil artbooks, doujinshi and other imported goods, and I really wanted to put it all to good use.
