·· About Rin

Despite how it all seems, Rin Kokonoe is quite a complex little girl. Having lost her mother at a very young age, Rin still retains some of the wounds involving sensitivity and loneliness even though she lives with her second cousin, Reiji. She has no female figure in her life, making it very difficult for her to find a role model. Rin's only female interactions are with her two friends, Mimi and Kuro, both of whom are often swept up in Rin's mischievous plans. Rin's biggest obstacle, however, is her overwhelming crush on her teacher, Aoki. Her intense feelings for him cause her to tease him endlessly, often times sexually harassing him by lifting up her skirt, pulling down her panties and purposely putting herself in situations where he must aid her or give her attention.

Rin can be very cunning. Numerous times she sets up Aoki to do as she desires, and if he does not follow through, she threatens to falsely expose him as being a pedophile, who either has molested her or attempted. Because of this, Aoki is at her disposal, and given his lack of experience with females in general, it easier for Rin to target him with her advances. Oddly enough, even though Rin seems to understand sexuality and love (at least to some extent), she is completely clueless that her close friend, Kuro, has a crush on her. When Rin innocently says certain things to her or even kisses her in a friendly manner, Kuro is instantly flustered, but Rin never seems to notice.

In general, Rin is very loyal and protective of the ones she loves. With Reiji, who has proven to be obsessive and views Rin in some sexual manner, Rin only sees good. With Kuro and Mimi in particularly, Rin has proven to be more devoted to them than to Aoki, and she will put them first if the situation calls for it.

Rin is overly eager to grow up, making it very difficult for her to accept she is actually a child. She envies both Mimi and female adults, who have already developed physically, and wishes Aoki especially would see her as a woman, not a girl.
